Need your guys opinion on fixing a 73 RR/GTX (1 of 117 susposedly, I don't buy that number myself as I have seen a few on ebay the last year, maybe they all survived....yeah right....)when I have a couple of very cool Mopars to do first (70 Charger and 70 GTX Clone). Decided I would take the 1 with the least amount of work to do. Hope to have it done by spring and run the shit out of it for the summer. The more I sit and look at it though, I am reminded just why I never wanted one before this

I THINK I bought 3 71 Charger doors from you at the 2006 Monster Mopar swap meet. My Charger has 72 Ralley doors on it.
My opinion is: NO YOU"RE NOT CRAZY!
A 73 U code car will not reach the PEAK values of a 68-71 B or E, but the RATE of value increase keeps going up for all Mopars no matter what the pedigree.I was offered twice what I paid for my 72 Newyorker BEFORE the body & paint work, & almost 4 times what I got in it after. A quick check on NADA shows $10,000 low & $42,000 high which pretty much matches my 71 383 Charger. You aint crazy.
