Is any one in the area doing a Gen III conversion into an older MoPar other than Myself? I am installing a 6.1Hemi into a 63 Fury and am looking to compare notes and thoughts with someone doing the same.
Does anyone believe that I beat a 2003 Ford Mustang GT in a stock Durango 5.7L Hemi? It's the truth and I was just as surprised as the owner of the Mustang.

I owned the car in the seventy's & eighty's and I was undefeated on the streets. It had a 383 .60 over balanced and allot of other work. Manual shift T flite, 488 rear end, converted it to 41/2 bolt pattern w/front disk brakes, SS springs, Torsion bars & allot of other trick Parts. When I lived in the Chicago area I was sponsored by a local Speed Shop, Chrysler Plymouth Dealer & Kendall oil Co. I was invited to numerous clinics at Grand Spalding Dodge given by Sox & Martin, Dick Landy, Gary Diher & several other MoPar Big Names. The car was well known at local Drag Strips up their also. I sold it and got a lot of feed back that the person that bought it had a propensity to louse control of it and crash. I herd the car was beat into the ground and not very well taken care of, as your photos showed. the way i recognized it was the radio antenna was still mounted in the right rear fender. never saw another one like it. Had allot of good memories in it. What type of history did you hear about?

Hey Herb,
I haven't had much time to work on it lately. I pulled it out last weekend and a front wheel cylinder is draging slightly so I need to do a little brake work when time and weather allows. Still like the magnum? I have been watching a couple of buildups in various mags. and they all seem to run high 12s in stock form. That's crazy fast for stock!!! Hope to catch up with you sometime.

Thanks! and yes I painted it the next day and the patch looks great. I was able to do a pretty good job of feathering the paint in. It's a little lighter than what's up their but it's a lot better than what I had up before! And yes any time you have a spair moment please come on by and I will get it out!!

Hey all,
I'm just looking for a throttle cable to put on my car. Put a new carb and intake on it and my old cable is frayed. It's on a 68 super bee 383. Also am looking for an electronic choke for a 750 holley.
thanks
