I've had enough fun with the GTX for a while-it's time to wake the Challenger.
It's got a weird vibration at highway speed and I'm thinking the pinion angle is too shallow. I recall you said you had a set of 2 degree shims you weren't using. Being cheap, I was wondering if I could borrow them with an option to buy.
Jeff, I had a 70 Challenger T/A in Panther Pink. It had a white vinyl top and white interior.
I am going to Branson on Friday. Are you attending Mopars in May this year?
HI JEFF IT'S HARD TO SAY, I NOTICED A FEW JAVELINS TOO. I THINK THERE ARE MORE OF THOSE CARS AROUND THAT WE THINK. I HAVE A 70 DODGE CHALLENGER CONVERTIBLE, ( MY 5TH. ONE IN 11 YEARS) AND MORE KEEP POPING UP ALL THE TIME. TY HAS 2 E-BODY CONVERTIBLES, AND ROB HAS ONE STILL I THINK. REGUARDS JIM
Hey Jeff I have not forgoten about the 2.94 rear end. Its still in my car and I have been lazy around the house. I started a new job at the end of october plus the holidays have put off any working on the car time. I'll be in touch, I have not forgoten just been delayed.
It's a clone or a tribute, however you want to look at it. There's a story behind it actually. Ty rented the Blues Barracuda from U-Save Auto Rental as a gift to Amy and I on our wedding day. Amy liked it so much we built our own using a rust-free California body.
I would be glad to help with the minor details on your Cuda. I have studied survivor cars so long I can pick out most things just looking. Your car is on its way to OE certification Gold already!
